Prof. Jun Liu

Biography:

Jun Liu, Professor/Doctoral Supervisor of School of Materials Science and Engineering, South China University of Technology, Director of Guangdong Key Laboratory of Advanced Energy Storage Materials, and Director of Advanced Energy Storage Technology Innovation R&D Center of Sino-Singapore International Joint Research Institute. He is mainly engaged in the research of energy storage materials and devices for lithium-ion batteries and solid-state batteries, and has published more than 200 papers in J. Am. Chem. Soc., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed. and Adv. Mater. and other journals (25 ESI highly cited papers), with a total of more than 16,000 citations, an H-index of 70, and has been authorized with more than 26 national invention patents. He is the deputy director of the Specialized Committee of the Chinese Energy Society, a member of the Specialized Committee of the Instrumentation Functional Materials Branch of the Chinese Instrument Society, a director of the Youth Council of the Chinese Society for Materials, and a member of the Specialized Committee of the Chinese Society for Chemical Industry on Inorganic Acids and Alkalis. His achievements have been honored with the first prize of Science and Technology Award of Chinese Chemical Society, the first prize of Natural Science of Guangdong Province, and the first prize of Natural Science of Hunan Province. He has been selected as one of the National Overseas High-level Introduced Talents, High-level Introduced Talents of Zhujiang Talent Program of Guangdong Province, and Highly Cited Scientist of Corelli Security Sphere.

Prof. Hüseyin Bilgin

Biography:

Huseyin Bilgin is the Professor of Civil (Structural) Engineering at Epoka University, Tirana Albania. He is actively taking part in teaching, research, and the practice of structural and earthquake engineering, with emphasis on the response, analysis, and design of reinforced concrete and masonry structures. His main research interests are related to the response of structures to extreme loads focusing on the areas of structural and earthquake engineering with an emphasis on problems of non-linearity and performance evaluation of members, connections, and structures. He has been involved in several research projects in these areas and has worked as an expert consultant on numerous engineering projects mostly made of reinforced concrete, but also of other structural materials. He has also participated in various national and international scientific activities related to structural and earthquake engineering. He supervises PhD, MSc, and undergraduate students studying in the above fields.

Assoc. Prof. Muhyiddine Jradi

University of Southern Denmark, Denmark

Biography:

Muhyiddine Jradi, PhD, is an Associate Professor in Energy Engineering and the leader of the Building Energy Applications Group at the Center of Energy Informatics at the University of Southern Denmark. He has a mechanical engineering background and received his PhD degree in Sustainable Building and Energy Technologies from the University of Nottingham, in 2014. Dr Jradi's main research interests include energy efficient systems, building energy modelling and simulation, energy renovation, multi-generation systems, energy systems numerical modelling and simulation, renewable energy and energy storage. Dr Jradi is currently leading and taking part in multiple international research projects in collaboration with industrial partners and public parities with funding exceeding 4 million USD. In addition, he is serving as a member of multiple journal editorial boards and international conferences’ scientific committees. He has received multiple awards including the Dean of Engineering Research Scholarship for International Excellence from the University of Nottingham and the Sakkal Renewable Energy Award from the American University of Beirut. Dr Jradi research work has led to more than 140 academic publications in leading journals and international conferences.
